Personal Profile: George Tarry - left in 1959

		I arrived at the school in 1954, going into what was then called Ra and left after 5a to go on to do my A levels elsewhere (because the College didn't do that, as we know). Mr Dames was headmaster. I remember Peter Clear and Jack Daniels in my class,among others. After a few years I went to Bristol Old Vic Theatre School and became an actor for about ten years, then a teacher for a while. I'm now a scriptwriter, living in Sussex, near Lewes. I can't say any of us can call Harlow College a good school but I remember it fondly.
