Member's Updates

It is with some sadness that I have to pass on the news that Robin Le-Male Fawssett (left '65) died in hospital, on 4th September, after a short illness following a fall. For those that remember him from school and for those that came to know him through the reunions that he never failed to attend, I am sure that you will agree that the world is a sadder place without him. I for one, will miss his idiosyncratic viewpoint on life, his enthusiasm, his humour, his unflagging support of this website and his (sometimes) unfathonable logic. Bon voyage, mon ami. (webmaster).

By coincidence, in the same batch of e-mails telling me of Robin's death, Bill Billing writes with some photos he managed to take (well he was and remained sober throughout the evening, didn't he!) at the Reunion. Two of these feature Robin, large as life. I have added these to the Paparazzi section of the Reunion Photo Gallery, accessed by clicking this link.

Victor Valente (left '65) writes in with some more names for the 1963 Nelson House photo. Is he right? If you were in Nelson in '63, check out the photo by clicking this link.

From K. L. Dame's own comments that started with "... likeable, well mannered boy." in 1956, to "... bully" in 1960. Bravely, Hugh Jones shares some of his school reports with us and you can review these yourself by clicking this link!
